NOSS exists to assist education professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of students.
NOSSMi delayed announcing plans for the Fall 2021 conference until we had a better idea of the pandemic situation as well as the types of discussions we might want to have. Because everyone is navigating old and new environments, we have selected “Wayfaring: Navigating College Mentally and Physically” as our conference theme. In order to facilitate discussions from a variety of points of view, the conference will primarily be a series of 10 minute lightning talks organized around a variety of themes including: * The Hidden Agenda * Communicating Our Message * Self Care * Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) * Innovative Practices * High Impact Teaching * Trauma Informed Teaching * Open Educational Resources (OERs)
