Dan Jaycox has a Master of Arts from Southeast Missouri State University. He is the EXCEL/SSS Director at Mineral Area College in Park Hills, MO. He currently serves as the media specialist of the Missouri Developmental Education Consortium (Mo-DEC). He spends his free time outdoors, trying his best to define "wilderness." He enjoys a good pastry more than most.
Lewis & Clark Community College
DeAnna Massie, Ed.D., MFA, is an Associate Professor of Developmental Reading and English and co-chair of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, IL. She was a 2016 nominee for the ICCTA Outstanding Faculty Member Award and works as consultant, facilitator, and trainer for higher education and corporate institutions. She really likes to party, and by party, she means read books and watch The Great British Baking Show. She will do almost anything for candy.

Korey Byers is an instructor and the Academic Resource Center Director at Mineral Area college in Park Hills, MO. He has a Master of Natural Science from Southeast Missouri State University where he studied ecology and weevil taxonomy. Korey completed a year of nursing school before becoming a fulltime faculty member at MAC. He has worked as a math tutor in the ARC since 2016 and teaches general biology, human anatomy and physiology.
He enjoys reading fantasy or science fiction novels, collecting insects, and hiking too far. He spends most of his free time outdoors or with his cats.
Butler Community College
Katheryn (Kathy) McCoskey is a Professor of English and Developmental English Lead at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. Kathy is involved with a number of local, state, and regional developmental education leadership initiatives, including Kansas Board of Regents Placement and Assessment Committee, Chair of the Great Plains Conference on Acceleration 2017 – 2019, and Co-Chair of the Butler Developmental Education Team. She helped establish and implement Butler’s Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) and currently coordinates it as well as its on-going Community of Practice for instructors. Kathy is active in MRADE and Heartland CRLA as well as their international associations. She enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, watching and performing in live theatre, and her two cats.

Justin Bernaix is an Assistant Professor of English & Coordinator for the Developmental Reading and Writing program at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois where he has been a faculty member since 2014. He has been a member of MWNOSS (formerly MRADE) since 2014 and Treasurer since 2017. While at Lewis & Clark, Justin has served on the Committee for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Technology Enhanced Learning Committee, while also playing a leadership role in the implementation of co-requisite English composition courses at the college. He holds a M.A. in the Teaching of Writing and a B.A. in English from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
