The Trials and Tribulations of Adjunct Faculty with Wes Anthony
This webinar will discuss the impact of having adjuncts teach a large portion of college courses across the country. Data on this will be shared as well. It will delve into this phenomena and why it has occurred. The lack of adjunct training in classroom management skills will also be addressed, as well as issues that stem from this.
Wes Anthony is the Director of the Kellogg Institute at the National Center for Developmental Education housed at Appalachian State University. He is the sixth director of the Kellogg Institute, and the first since Dr. Hunter Boylan to also be Kellogg Institute faculty. He is a certified as a Specialist in Developmental Education. He holds degrees from Northcentral University, Appalachian State University, Walden University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
