Iowa 2022 Chapter Conference

The Iowa chapter of NOSS welcomes anyone interested to their annual conference.  The gathering will provide professional development that will help those who work at post-secondary institutions support student success.

Theme for 2022 Conference:  "Unlocking Student Potential"

Keynote speakers: Dr. Gary Gute and Dr. Deanne Gutte, "The Flow of Student Success". Dr. Gary Gute is an associate professor at University of Northern Iowa (UNI), TedX licensee, and founder of the Creative Flow Research Center. Dr. Gute has authored or co-authored numerous articles while his work at UNI also includes the Human Potential Project. Dr. Deanne Gutte is the associate director of UNI's Flow Lab as well as a TedX organizer and speaker coach. Together, Dr. Gary Gutte and Dr. Deanna Gutte are cocreators of TheFlowChannel.com.

• Other conference highlights include breakout sessions, roundtable discussions, business meeting.
• The conference will also include the IOSS student scholarship and IOSS educator award.
• Conference attendees are encouraged to donate books for the America Reads elementary school book donation project.

Conference Cancellation Policy:  Refunds will not be given for conference cancellations after November 3, 2022. Cancellations may be made prior to that date, and refunds will be granted. All refunds will be sent after the conference is over.  Requests for refunds must be in writing to Mike Cagley at Michael.Cagley@witcc.edu.
