The National Organization for Student Success, Michigan Chapter (NOSSMI), formerly the Michigan Developmental Education Consortium (MDEC), is back! We are under new leadership, and we are inviting you to attend the in-person 2024 fall conference on Friday, November 1st, 2024 at Lansing Community College's West Campus Auditorium. Here are some details:

If you would like to present at the conference, there will be three breakout sessions.
We are accepting conference proposals now (preference given for early submissions)!

Payment:
- $100 for individual conference attendance
- $400 for institutional conference attendance (5 attendees included)
- Conference fee includes hot breakfast, hot lunch, cookies/brownies/coffee, LCC campus facilities, and keynote speaker

- 08:00-09:00: Breakfast (bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, juice, fruit, water, coffee)
- 09:00-10:00: Breakout Presentations 1
- 10:00-10:15: Break
- 10:15-11:15: Breakout Presentations 2
- 11:15-11:30: Break
- 11:30-11:50: Lunch (Taco bar! Vegetarian options available)
- 11:50-12:50: Keynote, Dr. David Arendale: Positioning Yourself and Your Program for the Future
- 13:00-14:00: Breakout Presentations 3
- 14:00-15:00: Brownies/Cookies/Coffee, Prizes, Awards, Leadership, Voting, and Discussions
- 15:00-17:00: Optional keynote speaker follow-up session
Hotel: A block of rooms is reserved with a special deal for NOSSMI attendees, $95 to $105 per night plus tax.
